Senegambian stone circles

The Senegambian stone circles, also known as the Wassu stone circles, are groups of large stone circles found in the Gambia, north of Janjanbureh, and in central Senegal. The Stoclet Palace (French: Palais Stoclet [palɛ stɔklɛ]; Dutch: Stocletpaleis [stɔˈklɛːpaːˌlɛis]), also called the Stoclet House, is a historic mansion in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, a city in Brussels, Belgium. It was designed by the Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann for the Belgian financier Adolphe Stoclet and built between 1905 and 1911 in the Vienna Secession style. Stećak (plural: stećci; Serbian Cyrillic: стећак, стећци) is the name for large tombstones from the medieval period that are found in many places across Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as parts of Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia. About 60,000 of these tombstones are located within modern-day Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the remaining 10,000 are found in today’s Croatia (4,400), Montenegro (3,500), and Serbia (2,100). These tombstones are spread across more than 3,300 sites, with over 90% in poor condition.

The Sikhote-Alin (pronounced SEE-kə-TAY-ə-LEEN; in Russian, Сихотэ́-Али́нь, pronounced [sʲɪxɐˈtɛ ɐˈlʲinʲ]) is a mountain range in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Krais of Russia. It stretches about 900 kilometers (560 miles) to the northeast of the Russian Pacific seaport of Vladivostok. The highest peaks include Tordoki Yani at 2,077 meters (6,814 feet) above sea level, Ko Mountain at 2,003 meters (6,572 feet) in Khabarovsk Krai, and Anik Mountain at 1,933 meters (6,342 feet) in Primorsky Krai.
