Kuk Swamp is an archaeological site located in Papua New Guinea, within the Wahgi Valley of the highlands. It is situated at an altitude of about 1,550 meters, approximately 12–13 kilometers northeast of Mount Hagen, the capital of Western Highlands Province. The swamp formed in an area that was once a lake, as it was filled with deposits of soil and rock carried by water.

The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, previously called the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves, are a World Heritage Site. They include 41 rainforest reserves covering about 370,000 hectares (910,000 acres) in north-east New South Wales and south-east Queensland. The site was added to the World Heritage List in 1986 and expanded in 1994.
Saloum Delta National Park, or Parc National du Delta du Saloum in Senegal, is a national park covering 760 square kilometers (190,000 acres). It was created in 1976 and is located in the Saloum Delta, where the Saloum River meets the North Atlantic Ocean. The park is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Ramsar Convention site.
The city of Coro and its port, La Vela de Coro, were founded in 1527. They are located in the northwestern part of Falcón state, Venezuela, near the Caribbean Sea. In 1993, Coro and its port were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The Bohai Sea salt marsh area (WWF ID: PA0902) includes the deltas of the Yellow River and the Luan River where the rivers flow into the Bohai Sea in China. The salt marshes and muddy areas that are wet during high tide and dry during low tide are important places for birds traveling along the East Asian–Australasian Flyway. This area is facing a lot of stress from human activities.
The Bohai Sea (Chinese: 渤海; pinyin: Bó Hǎi; Zhuyin Fuhao: ㄅㄛˊ ㄏㄞˇ; meaning “Bo Sea”) is a gulf or inland sea with an area of about 77,000 km² (30,000 sq mi) on the east coast of Mainland China. It is the northernmost and innermost part of the Yellow Sea, connected to it through the Bohai Strait. The average depth of the Bohai Sea is about 18 meters (59 feet), and its deepest point is approximately 80 meters (260 feet), found in the northern part of the Bohai Strait.

Virunga National Park (French: Parc national des Virunga, abbreviated as PNVi) is a national park located in the Albertine Rift Valley in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was established in 1925. The park’s elevation ranges from 680 meters (2,230 feet) in the Semliki River valley to 5,109 meters (16,762 feet) in the Rwenzori Mountains.
