State of the Thumbs United Union

This is the first video of a series called the “State of the Thumbs United Union”. This series will be a live-streamed event on Twitch with https://twitch.tv/thumbsunited airing on Sundays at 10pm EST. The goal is to show and premiere the new videos and articles that were either released in the week during the show or the coming soon in the upcoming week. These are not just Thumbs United videos but premieres and updates from all of Photations sister-sites (Photations, Live to Tape and Project Aerospace).

In this episode which was streamed live on twitch on 12-12-2021 we discus my return to streaming and the situation that prevented a consistent schedule for the year of 2021. We also discus the article Presented without comment ( https://photations.com/thumbsunitedblog/11-20-2021-presented-without-comment ). Which is a blog post that spells out the previous thought process for presenting Photations content and what changes are to come in the way we make media.

The final video we premiered was the new “How To” a video and blog series where we start off with how to use old server technology and recycle it for use in the media creation process. For this series we’ll be focusing on setting up and using the HP Proliant BL460c. This is a blade server and We’ll be showing how to run it as a standalone server outside of it’s enclosure.
