The Medieval City of Rhodes was built between 1309 and 1523. It is part of today's capital city of Rhodes on the island of Rhodes in Greece. The site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988.
The Medieval city has two sections: the high town in the north and the lower town in the south-southwest. The high town was completely built by the Hospitaller Rhodes. The Medieval city is surrounded by a wall that is 4 kilometers long.
