Post Production Process

America Series One is a journey through the United States landscape. This series contains drive-lapse photography and traditional digital and film photography. A drive-lapse is video taken using a timelapse method with a camera mounted to the rood of the car. This series contains Stereoscopic (3D and VR 3D) as well as 4K UHD and for the first time 360 5K drive-lapse video.

The digital photography include 35mm film photographs as well as 120 medium format film. The film is processed and scanned at home and will be processed in Lightroom and Photoshop for dust removal and light color correction.

The stereoscopic photos is a dual camera system mounted on the side of the car taking a pair of photos every 10 seconds as we drive across the United States. This creates a massive amount of photographs which we’ll have to sift through and find the good ones. This photographs will later be used for Photations (Photographic Animations) in 3D for Stereograph viewers (Smartphone VR googles and Google Cardboard) as well as embedded 3D for viewing in the YouTube VR app for occulus, Playstation VR and many other VR systems. A standard 3D side by side viewing method will also be made available for 3DTVs and other 3D systems to be set manually

Photos selected and edited will be published throughout the process and available to view and order for the public.
