Qusayr ‘Amra
Qusayr ‘Amra, also called Quseir Amra or Qasr Amra (Arabic: قصر عمرة, romanized: Qaṣr ‘Amrah), is the most famous of the desert castles in eastern Jordan today. Qutb Minar
The Qutb Minar, also spelled Qutub Minar and Qutab Minar, is a tower and a symbol of victory. It was built during the Delhi Sultanate and is part of the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Mehrauli, South Delhi, India. Most of the tower was built between 1199 and 1220.
Hoh Xil
Hoh Xil, also known as Kekexili (Mongolian for “Blue Ridge”) or Aqênganggyai (meaning “Lord of Ten Thousand Mountains”), is a remote area in the northeast part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. On July 7, 2017, Hoh Xil in Qinghai was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list as “the largest and highest plateau in the world.”
Pyu city-states
The Pyu city-states were a group of independent cities that existed from about 200 BCE to the mid-11th century in what is now Upper Myanmar. These city-states were established by the Pyu people, who migrated from Tibet to Mainland Southeast Asia. The Pyu people were the earliest known inhabitants of Burma, and their history is recorded in historical documents.
