Iguazú National Park
The Iguazú National Park (Spanish: Parque Nacional Iguazú) is a national park in Argentina. It is located in the Iguazú Department, in the northern part of the Misiones province, in the Mesopotamia region of Argentina. The park covers an area of 677 square kilometers (261 square miles).
Lake Ichkeul
Lake Ichkeul (Arabic: بحيرة اشكل, romanized: Buḥayra ʾIshkul) is a lake in northern Tunisia, found 20 kilometers (12 miles) from Bizerte, the northernmost city in Africa on the Mediterranean Sea. The lake and wetlands of Ichkeul National Park serve as an important place for hundreds of thousands of migrating birds each year. Birds that visit the area include ducks, geese, storks, and pink flamingos.
Humberstone and Santa Laura Saltpeter Works
Humberstone and Santa Laura Saltpeter Works are two former saltpeter refineries in northern Chile. They were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 because they show the historical importance of saltpeter mining in Chile and the culture and social aspects that developed around it in the late 1800s. The sites were added to the World Heritage List in Danger in 2005 because the old and run-down buildings were fragile.
Humayun’s tomb
Humayun’s Tomb (Persian: Maqbara-i Humayun) is the burial place of Mughal Emperor Humayun, located in Delhi, India. The tomb was built by Humayun’s first wife and main advisor, Empress Bega Begum, under her guidance in 1558. It was designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, who were Persian architects chosen by her.
Holy Trinity Column, Olomouc
The Holy Trinity Column (Czech: Sloup Nejsvětější Trojice) in Olomouc, Czech Republic, is a large Baroque monument built between 1716 and 1754. Its main purpose was to honor the Catholic Church and faith, partly because people were grateful for ending a plague that affected Moravia (now part of the Czech Republic) between 1713 and 1715. The monument also showed pride in the local community, as all the artists and skilled workers who created it were citizens of Olomouc, and most of the saints shown in the artwork were connected to the city in some way.

Hoi An Old Town (Vietnamese: Phố cổ Hội An) is a heritage site and old trading post located in Hoi An. It was an important place where foreign traders came to Vietnam from the 15th century until the 19th century. The newer city today still keeps some of this importance.
Makli Necropolis
Makli Necropolis (Urdu: شہرِ خموشاں مکلی; Sindhi: مڪلي قبرستان) is one of the largest burial sites in the world. It covers an area of 10 kilometers near the city of Thatta in the Pakistani province of Sindh. The site includes between 500,000 and 1 million tombs built over a 400-year period.
Historic Villages of Shirakawa-gō and Gokayama
The Historic Villages of Shirakawa-gō and Gokayama are a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Japan. This protected area includes three traditional mountain villages covering 68 hectares (170 acres) in the faraway Shogawa River valley, which is located near the border of Gifu and Toyama Prefectures in central Japan. Shirakawa-gō, which means “White River Old-District,” is found in the village of Shirakawa in Gifu Prefecture.
Hahoe Folk Village
The Hahoe Folk Village (Korean: 안동 하회마을) is a traditional village from the Joseon Dynasty, located in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. The word “Ha” means river, and “Hoe” means to turn around, return, or come back. The village is an important part of Korean culture because it keeps buildings, traditions, books, and ways of life from the Joseon period.
Banská Štiavnica
Banská Štiavnica (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈbanskaː ˈʂcɪɐʋɲitsa]; German: Schemnitz; Hungarian: Selmecbánya [Selmec], pronounced [ˈʃɛlmɛd͡zbaːɲɒ]) is a town in central Slovakia. It is located in the center of a very large caldera formed when an ancient volcano collapsed. This caldera is known as the Štiavnica Mountains.
